Manual band saw IMET GBS 240 GH Auto Cut enabling cutting at an angle - arm torsion up to 60° to the right - and hydraulic feed. The machine is equipped with a manual vice with quick clamping, manual lifting of the arm, cooling system, two cutting speeds and smoothly adjustable feed.
Cutting tool - 27 mm high bimetallic strip is precisely guided in the cubes made of sintered carbides
Basic data:
- maximum cutting diameter: ø 240 mm
- working feed: gravitational arm drop; smooth adjustment
- arm lifting: manual
- miter cut: Right 0° - 45° - 60°
- cutting band size: 2720 x 27 x 0.9mm
- band speed: 2 cutting speeds 35/70 m/min.
- vice: manual - quick clamp
The GBS 240 GH has a large worktop with a swivel integrated with a shackle designed to avoid notches on the same ball bearing for easy rotation.
Vice with adjustable guides, moving laterally on the work surface and fast approach to the material being cut.
The bi-metal blade has dimensions of 2730x27x0.9mm with a working speed of 30 to 70 m/min, which makes it an ideal tool for machining steel and cast iron.
The controlled descent system is equipped with automatic operation with a 3-position selector for:
- Manual cutting
- Quick approach to the material
- Automatic cutting with autonomous lowering, adjustable stop and end-cut microswitch
Standard equipment:
- cooling system
- bimetallic tape - 1 piece in the machine
- english user manual
Additional equipment at an extra charge:
- roller feeders
- oil mist lubrication system (micronizer)
- strain gauge for precise adjustment of belt tension
