KS 802 NC is a semi-automatic two-column band saw designed for cutting pipes, tubes, rods and solid materials at an angle of up to 60° on the left and right. The machine has automatic saw rotation managed by CNC, which makes it an ideal tool for mass production and professional applications.

The KS 802 NC has an easy and intuitive interface designed to optimize the user experience: thanks to the CNC system and 10-inch touch screen, the user can manage all operational functions of the machine, set 99 cutting programs and multiple cutting lengths on the same bar, set the number of feeder strokes, number of pieces and blade speed. It is also possible to perform self-diagnostics to detect errors.

KS 802 NC has a large, electrically welded bow with a rigid structure and high thickness. The massive design helps reduce any vibration, binding or slowing down during the cutting process, saving the life and durability of the saw blade. High cutting efficiency of even the largest cross-sections and solid materials is ensured by a blade inclined at an angle of 5° and a strip tension of 2000 kg/cm2.

The machine has an automatic saw frame rotation system controlled by a toothed belt and a gear motor. Positioning precision is ensured by a hydraulic cylinder that stops rotation. Rotation managed by CNC and 10-inch touch screen.

The speed of the KS 802 NC drop saw can be set, managed and viewed via the LCD display on the control panel.

The 5° inclined blade ensures optimal strand penetration into the white material being cut and helps reduce vibration, binding and slowness during the process, increasing cutting efficiency and saving blade life, even when cutting solid materials or large cross-sections. It is equipped with a switch that maintains high blade tension to reduce tension during operation.

The machine has a movable blade guide that automatically maintains contact with the cutting point using a gas piston.

All IMET semi-automatic and automatic band saws are equipped with a mechanical cleaning brush with nylon fibers that helps remove debris and debris during cutting.

As standard, all KS NC models have a wired user safety system: if an obstacle or any problems are detected during operation, the system automatically stops the process.

The machine has a standard minimum lubrication system with 2 nozzles and a 3-liter tank. The minimum lubrication standard avoids the dispersion of liquid refrigerant typical when using emulsifying oil, which does not in any way affect the service life of the blade.
