IMET XS 900 is a large-size semi-automatic band saw for industrial use, suitable for cutting large-sized profiles and solids made of special steel with a vertical slope and straight cutting. The machine is an ideal industrial tool, capable of processing large-format elements thanks to its wide working area and 7 integrated motor-driven rollers.

Quantity

The machine has large dimensions, a strong, rigid and impressive construction of an electrically welded saw frame, sliding on linear guides, the movement of which is ensured by recirculating ball screws. The oversized design increases the stability, efficiency and performance of the machine when cutting even the largest pieces.

To further increase the stability of the machine and obtain better cutting performance, the machine base is electro-welded with large-thickness sections to avoid vibration, jamming and slowing down of the saw frame and to eliminate noise.

Blade and arc movement and feeding are managed by electric vector motors with a control display that can detect and immediately report any error, stoppage or anomaly.

The machine has a wide working area in which 7 motor-driven (hydraulically) rollers provide a large load capacity for any size of material, ensuring better positioning and accuracy of the material. The element is clamped using a horizontal hydraulic vice.

The XS 900 saw blade guides feature hard metal washers and cemented, hardened and rectified side rollers with easy adjustment. The blade guide is then automatically kept close to the cutting area.

The tensioning of the knives is provided by a hydraulic cylinder, managed by the machine software. When the machine is paused and does not need to be used, the system automatically releases the blade, reducing tension to extend blade life. If the blade breaks, the XS automatically stops.

The XS is equipped with a chip conveyor that facilitates the removal of debris and chips, ensuring that the work area is always clean and nothing can interfere with the cutting process.

Optional equipment (additionally paid):

A minimum lubrication system with 2 nozzles and a 3 liter tank can be required for all IMET machines. The system avoids dispersion of the coolant, typical when using an emulsifier; blde life has no influence on this in any way.
Blade deflection control allows you to always achieve perfect blade alignment and position, and also has automatic detection and stopping of the cutting process in the event of a breakage.
To facilitate material positioning and help the user see the cutting line, the machine can add a laser beam to indicate the exact cutting point.
