The PINNACLE AX320 machining center is a 5-axis machine with a rotary and tilting table. The body of the machine consists of ribbed Meehanite cast iron. The headstock is equipped with a pneumatic counterweight, which significantly minimizes the vibration of the column and the headstock itself during dynamic changes in the direction of movement. 5-axis machining allows you to create a complex shape in one installation, which increases accuracy and reduces the processing time of the detail.
The PINNACLE AX320 machining center is a 5-axis machine with a rotary and tilting table. The body of the machine consists of ribbed Meehanite cast iron. The headstock is equipped with a pneumatic counterweight, which significantly minimizes the vibration of the column and the headstock itself during dynamic changes in the direction of movement. 5-axis machining allows you to create a complex shape in one installation, which increases accuracy and reduces the processing time of the detail.
Linear roller guides and optional measuring scales enable high dynamics of axis movement and high positioning accuracy.
In order to increase the accuracy of machining and the smoothness of movement, the machine's headstock and ball screws are cooled with oil.
AX series machines are available with three work table sizes: ø320, ø400 and ø500mm. Machining centers can be equipped with Heidenhain, Sinumerik or Fagor controls. If the workpiece does not require 5-axis interpolation, it is possible to order a 4+1 machine (4 interpolated + 1 indexed axes), which will significantly reduce purchase costs.

Main features of the AX series
- Main structural members are made of high quality Meehanite (FC-30) iron castings
- Class "P" precision linear guides use rollers instead of traditional balls, which significantly increases their stiffness and load capacity
- Travels 30/30/24 m/min in the X/Y/Z axes
- The spindle has high-precision P4 class bearings. The spindle provides a wide machining range and high speed
- The spindle oil cooling circuit prevents thermal expansion and ensures optimal conditions for machining
- Table tilt - A axis in the range of -120° to +30°
- Table rotation – C axis working full 360°
- Work table diameter Ф320mm
- Optional HEIDENHAIN measuring scales - double feedback loop - ensure maximum travel precision
- Machines designed to work in the aviation, space and medical industries, with all details requiring maximum accuracy
- The tilt and rotation of the worktable is performed by servo motors, through worm gears with backlash compensation. The positioning accuracy for the A/C axis is 15"/10", positioning repeatability is 10"/5"
