HMI 10-inch touch screen
KTECH 352 has an easy and intuitive interface that optimizes user convenience: thanks to the CNC system and 10-inch touch screen, the user can manage all operating functions of the machine, set cutting program 99 and multiple cutting lengths on the same bar, set the number of feeder strokes, number of pieces and blade speed. It is also possible to perform self-diagnostics to detect errors.

NC control
KTECH line automatic cutting machines have an innovative system of 4 controlled axes (cross travel and vice closing, material feeding and saw frame rotation), all numerically controlled. All machine movement and settings can be controlled and modified via the touch screen.

Saw arm
The bow is made of electrically welded steel and has a tubular cross-section, large diameter discs (380 mm) with a tilting blade guard carriage. The saw frame also has a system for easy blade replacement, which is provided by a support piston. Hard metal washers on movable blade guides optimize blade alignment.

Blade and tip
KTECH 352 uses 27x0.9mm blades with high working tension (up to 1900kg/cm2), which provide excellent results in material feeding and cutting, reducing vibration and belt stress and avoiding cracks that could impair the cutting quality. Like all Imet machines, this model also ends the cut with a blade not parallel to the plate: this system allows you to always cut only a fragment of the material, even when working with squares.

Movement of the saw arm
The rotation of the saw frame and the angle setting position are controlled by an inverter-controlled gear motor, implemented using a rack and pin. Once the angles are set correctly, the rotation is blocked by a hydraulic cylinder. The machine automatically synchronized the rotation of the arc with the closing and movement of the vice. Descent is hydraulic with pressure regulators on the mobile control panel, next to the HDI system.

Mechanical detection device
The mechanical material detection system automatically detects the first point, allowing the arc to quickly approach the material. The tip trimming process is managed by a microswitch located on the movable blade guides, which automatically detects the end of the cutting process.

Integrated roller feeder
Once loaded, material movement is provided by an integrated motorized feeder equipped with a self-braking electric motor, an incremental screw (which also optimizes to ensure perfect positioning and accuracy), an inverter and an encoder. The feeder slides on chrome bars with a floating plate, which makes it easier to load material that is not perfectly straight.

Cutting precision
The KTECH line band saws have automatic control of the size of details thanks to an infinitesimal encoder and automatic correction of the cutting length. Thanks to the innovative angle measurement system (the angle reading is set outside the center of the machine), the machine is characterized by high positioning accuracy and the best cutting precision.

Industry 4.0 Ready - SAWfactory + RealTime (OPTIONAL)
IMET machines can be connected to the company network and used remotely thanks to SAWFACTORY and a modem. SAWFACTORY is dedicated software that allows you to manage the cutting process from your desk, setting cutting programs and monitoring the workflow thanks to a dedicated web application. The software also allows you to remotely obtain assistance from our technicians. Discover SAWFACTORY: https://bit.ly/2RuxHuX

Industry 4.0 Ready - RealTime Kit for (OPTIONAL)
The set allows you to send information directly from the machine to the MES system in real time about: the condition of the machine, the situation of the cut elements, and the automatic course of the cycle. The connection is made via the Internet service provided by the user in his own LAN; the webservice will act as a filter between the band saw and the internal MES system (the set is only available if the "Industry 4.0 Ready" package is already installed

Industry 4.0 Ready - OneLoad kit for MES (OPTIONAL)
The kit allows you to load a list/cutting program from the company office/MES into the machine software in order to optimize the internal workflow while avoiding possible errors made by the machine operator. It is necessary for the customer to have an FTP server on the same LAN where both the SAWprogram and the cutting program are installed. A "shortcut" is enabled in the machine controller to load cut lists and start the cycle (the kit is only available if the "Industry 4.0 Ready" package is already installed).

Device included in the package (OPTIONAL)
The beam device consists of two groups of clamps: one mounted on a fixed vice, the other on a rear vice. It can only be used to cut at a 0° angle. Capacity of a single element with the device installed: max. 350x160 mm, min. 55x10mm. The beam cutting capacity is: max. 300x160mm, minimum 85x10mm. The device can be dismantled using 2 screws on the fixed vice and 2 on the support vice and by disconnecting the hydraulic lines using quick connector systems. Not compatible with laser beam (only one can be placed on the same machine).

Laser ray (OPTIONAL)
The system is mounted on the saw frame and allows the user to visualize the cut line on the material as the saw frame comes down.

Minimum lubrication device (OPTIONAL)
Minimum lubrication can be ordered for any machine, which eliminates the coolant dispersion typical of using emulsifying oil, which does not in any way affect the durability of the blade.

Motorized chip conveyor (OPTIONAL)
To facilitate the machine cycle, a motor-driven chip conveyor can be added to the machine, located on the side of the machine. The chip conveyor allows you to optimize machine performance by removing chips from the work area and hoppers to keep the area clean, allowing for an optimized workflow.

Connecting element for roller tables (OPTIONAL)
To connect the machine with the roller table, a connecting element must be added.

Roller tables (OPTIONAL)
It is possible to integrate the machine with a free roll table on both the loading and unloading sides. Each module is 2 m long and equipped with 7 support rollers (diameter 60 mm). The first element (connected to the machine) has 2 brackets, the subsequent elements are equipped with 1 bracket.

Vertical feeders (OPTIONAL
A pair of vertical steel stop rollers. Maximum 2 pairs; single element 2m. For use without roller covers.

Automatic loading system (OPTIONAL)
Automatic bar loader controlled by the saw control software, in which the bars are fed automatically, consisting of supporting surfaces with a scraper chain and loading stations (from 5 to 15). The load-bearing surfaces can be easily moved thanks to the modular design. The feeder is equipped with a rod locking system, vertical leveling rollers and gears that move the scraper chains. The system is controlled by the saw software to which it is connected.

Automatic discharge system (OPTIONAL)
The band saw can also be integrated with various types of automatic unloading systems, depending on the size of the material and the customer's wishes. The system always works synchronously with the movement of the material feeder and saw frame. The unloading process can be carried out using a simple tilting table that separates the good pieces and offcuts/trims (the former on one side, the latter on the other) or by ejecting the cut pieces using a side pusher system (which can be connected to a motorized carpet, table motor-driven or free table).
