LCM laser cutting system

Laser cutting machines mostly are used for cutting thick sheets of steel and stainless steel. There is no better chose when high accuracy and best cut surface quality with smallest heat-affective zone is necessary. Much better quality of surface and detail dimension can be obtained on laser cutting machine than on any other type of cutting system.


Wide applications

Laser cutting machines are widely applicable. Plenty of varied, complicated, shapes can be cut on these machined during one, uninterrupted cutting process.

Advanced technology

Decreased to minimum heat-affected zone does not have big impact on material geometry and does not contort details. Highly concentrated laser beam affects on small laser line width and assures high surface quality.

Different materials

Applicable materials: steel, stainless steel, aluminium, cooper and many different materials.


The wavelength of a YAG laser (1.064 microns) is exactly ten times smaller than the CO2 wavelength (10.64 microns) and therefore, has a resulting spot size that is 10 times smaller than a CO2 (in the same set-up). YAG lasers are able to provide more detailed and higher precision cut  than CO2 when both laser types are put into the same machine set-up.

The diode-pumped YAG laser has a diode bar that heats up and can warp after about 10,000 hours of use, thereby requiring costly replacement. The CO2 laser also does not require a significant amount of maintenance. Anyway, fiber laser has no diode bar and therefore, has no maintenance for up to 70,000 hours of operation.


Main advantages of FIBER laser resonator:

  • Lack of moving parts like turbine etc.
  • Lack of vacuum pump
  • There is no need to change any filters, ventilators or quartz pipes
  • Lack of resonator gas consumption
  • Much less energy consumption and heat waste
  • Smaller overall dimension of FIBER resonator than CO2 one
  • FIBER laser consumes 11 times less energy during readiness time than CO2 one
